Looking for gentle ways to talk to my mom about my faith
Assalamualaikum, I recently embraced Islam and I'm finding it difficult to talk about this with my mom. She was upset when she saw me praying Salah, and now she's asking me to join her for Easter and other holiday events. Honestly, I don't feel comfortable going to church anymore since I'm Muslim. She doesn't attend regularly herself, only for big holidays. Does anyone have advice on how I can explain this to her gently? I don't want to make her angry or hurt, but I need to be honest about my beliefs.
