Longing for the Hereafter?

Salam alaikum everyone, I wanted to get your thoughts-is it problematic for a Muslim to feel a sense of anticipation towards death? I understand that life is both a blessing and a test, but I sometimes find myself looking forward to death as a way to leave behind the struggles of this world. Right now, I don't have any goals or passions that excite me about the future; honestly, I feel kind of hollow and have some unsettling thoughts. I'm doing my best to enjoy my days and stay away from sin, but overall, I'm just really down. Does this count as a sin?
