Had a thought about the Prophet's message after reading up-what do you all think?
Assalamu alaykum, I was looking into some common criticisms about the prophethood of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and found a few points that really stood out. One argument is that he might have been after power or just wanted to fix society's morals. But when you think about it, that doesn't add up. He was offered leadership, wealth, and marriage to drop his message, but he said no to all of it. Instead, he went through exile, boycotts, and even threats on his life. If power was the goal, why turn down real offers and choose hardship? Then there's the idea that he used religion purely for social reform. Why would he push strict monotheism in a place full of idol worship if that was the case? Mixing in some idols or creating a new one would've been way easier to get people on board. Sticking to one God shows he really believed in what he was saying. Some say he might've been sincere but delusional. But nothing in his life suggests that. His revelations were clear and consistent, and he led people wisely, kept his cool, and showed no signs of mental illness. How does that fit with being deluded? Others claim he was some kind of accidental poetry genius who wrote the Quran without realizing it. An illiterate man, with no poetry training, suddenly producing the most incredible Arabic work that even the top poets couldn't match? And it only started in his 40s, in a style totally different from how he normally talked, coming to him at specific times like revelations? That just doesn't hold up. So, when you look at his sincerity, his clear mind, and the unlikelihood of him being an unknowing literary master, the simplest explanation is the one he gave: he was truly the Messenger of Allah. What are your thoughts on this?
