Can We Recite the 99 Names of Allah in Sujood?

Assalamualaikum, everyone. I had a quick question about sujood-we all know it's mandatory to say 'Subhana Rabbiyal A'la' at least once, but after that, we're encouraged to add more dhikr. Does that include reciting any of the 99 names of Allah (swt) during sujood? Just curious if anyone has some insight on this.

Good question. I think so, since they're all beautiful names of Allah. But I usually just keep it simple in sujood.

I've heard some scholars say it's okay as dhikr, but best to stick with the sunnah phrases to be safe. Maybe check with a local imam?
