Let's Talk About Faith: It's More Than Just Feeling Good
Hey everyone – wanted to share a thought I've been reflecting on lately. Sometimes we can slip into treating our worship a bit like a quick fix, you know? We pray because we want to feel at peace. We make du'a because we're hoping for relief right away. We do good deeds expecting to feel happier immediately. But honestly, it doesn't always work like that. Sometimes Allah (swt) isn't focused on making us *feel* better in the moment – He's working on making us **be better**. And becoming a better Muslim, a better person, isn't always comfortable. It often comes through tests, patience, and carrying loads we didn't necessarily ask for. Not every salah will give instant calm. Not every du'a will lift your burden immediately. That doesn't mean it's not working, insha'Allah. We worship Allah (swt) because He alone deserves worship, whether we're feeling light or heavy, whether things get easier or stay tough. Sometimes the hardest moments are where the real growth happens. So if you're doing everything right – praying, making du'a, trying your best – and still feel down, don't think your worship is broken. Maybe this is exactly how Allah is shaping you. Not to feel better. But to become better. What do you all think?
