A Heartfelt Question About Finding Faith

As-salamu alaykum, everyone. I'm someone who's naturally very curious and has always been deeply interested in religion, though mostly as an observer until now. I come from a family that's Christian, but our background is Southern African, so there's a mix of deep ancestral traditions and strong Catholic beliefs. It has often felt confusing to navigate. Since 2016, after meeting some wonderful Muslim friends at university, I've felt a strong pull towards Islam. However, my sister is a dedicated pastor who does amazing work helping young people, so I've kept these feelings to myself. Now, I've reached a point where I feel my life is coming apart, and I don't know how else to say it-I've had a powerful spiritual experience that I believe was a call from Allah, and I can't ignore it any longer. I admit I am very new to the teachings and I don't want to make such an important step without understanding. I am truly willing to learn. I'm also hoping to find someone who can offer guidance, not just about faith, but also through some of the personal challenges I'm facing. I hope this makes sense. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
