July 30 World Day Against Trafficking in Persons: A Moment to Raise Awareness and Protect Victims

Every July 30, the world observes World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, designated by the UN through Resolution A/RES/68/192 in 2013. This observance aims to raise awareness about the dangers of human trafficking and push for the protection of victims' rights. Human trafficking is a transnational crime that violates human rights, with victims from all walks of life facing exploitation, modern slavery, or violence.
