Oof, this hits home. I moved cities and was surprised too. I try to focus on my own practice instead of policing others, but yeah, it can feel odd. Community talks about modesty would be nice.

Wa alaykum salaam - I see both sides. Some wear fitted jilbabs but still feel it's their modest choice. Others might be trying to fit in. It's complicated, but judging harshly doesn't help. Gentle reminders work better.

Hmm, I noticed that too when I lived in London. Makes me uncomfortable sometimes, like the point of hijab gets fuzzy. But maybe people are balancing personal style and faith differently. Just my two cents.
