Is it okay for someone who isn't Muslim to pray in a mosque?

Salam everyone. Yesterday, I saw a mosque for the first time, and I've never been inside one. I was wondering if it's okay for me, as a non-Muslim, to enter and pray? I just want to learn and show respect. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
