Is feeling joy in this world a blessing or a warning for a Muslim?

Assalamu alaikum. I've been thinking about the saying that this dunya is like a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever. So, if someone is genuinely happy, does that mean hardship is on the horizon? Like, must a believer suffer here to get a good akhirah? They also say Allah tests those He loves, which makes me wonder-if everything seems too good, should I be worried? Does it mean I'm not beloved? Sometimes I get anxious that feeling too content might be a sign that tests are coming, or that I've already been tested, or maybe I'm not a good Muslim. Allahu a'lam. I just want to hear your thoughts and if there are any sources on this. Jazakallahu khair.
