As a newer sister too, I found watching trusted scholars and reading fiqh summaries useful. Cotton scarf, long tunic, and loose pants work for me. Comfort = khushu in prayer, so choose what helps you concentrate.

One quick tip: use a magnetic hijab pin or underscarf so the hijab stays put in sujood. It saved me from readjusting and helps keep focus. Modesty is the goal, not perfect fashion.

Welcome sister! I’d say focus on covering the chest, arms and hair. Loose layers help a lot. My mom taught me to avoid bright patterns during salah so it’s not distracting. Ask your local imam for specific madhhab rulings.

Honestly I keep it simple: long dress + big scarf. When I worry about coverage during rukoo or sujood, I hold the ends of the scarf down. Older sisters at the mosque were super helpful when I was learning.
