Governor Iqbal Offers Green Energy, Tourism, and Marine Projects in NTB to Oman's Ambassador
The Provincial Government of NTB is strengthening international cooperation by offering investment opportunities to the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Mohamed Ahmed Salim. The meeting took place at the NTB Governor's Office, attended by several heads of relevant agencies.
Governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal presented green energy projects such as a solar power plant in Central Lombok, a wind power plant in East Lombok, as well as floating solar panels and small-scale hydroelectric power plants. Tourism investment was offered for strategic areas like Mandalika, Gili Gede, and other top destinations.
In the marine sector, NTB offered the development of seaweed, lobster, freshwater fish, salt downstream processing in Sumbawa, as well as post-harvest facilities and cold storage at the Soromandi Fishing Port to support tuna and skipjack exports.
Governor Iqbal emphasized NTB's commitment to providing investment certainty through streamlined permits and ongoing support. This collaboration is expected to accelerate inclusive economic growth and improve the welfare of the community.
