Challenges as a Revert with Unsupportive Parents

Salam, I’m a revert. I embraced Islam as a teen without my parents knowing at first. They still carry a lot of hurt about it. When I started wearing hijab, they weren’t happy at all and made me remove it. I still wear it secretly to school and with my friends. How can I help them understand that I should wear hijab? I asked them to talk with an imam, but they completely refused. I’m really scared. I want to wear my hijab properly. What can I do to make this easier? Can anyone please make dua for me?
