Coming from a past of shirk, can Allah forgive me?

Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. I have a concern: I was raised Catholic and also got involved with some Brazilian religions that attributed partners to Allah. I now understand that this is a major sin, but I've stumbled a few times since. In moments of deep despair, I feel the pull to return to Islam, knowing it's the true path. Can Allah forgive me for these transgressions and my history of following other ways? A sincere fraternal hug to you all.
