Ever prayed sincerely for a blessed union?

There's a sister I've been close with since our A-levels back in 2019, and now Allah has placed us in the same university. I genuinely admire her character and would love to build a righteous future together. We get along really well, but sometimes I feel a bit stuck and wonder if there's anything more I can do. Realistically, things might align better after I graduate and secure a stable job, but waiting can be tough, you know? I often remember her in my duas and try to pray Tahajjud whenever I can-though admittedly, I miss some nights since it can be exhausting, and even my mom worries about me overdoing it. I'd love to hear from others: have you ever made constant dua and prayed Tahajjud for a specific person, and in the end, by Allah's will, it actually worked out?
