Don't Let Others Weigh Down Your Path of Taubah (Repentance)

If they've struggled with something in silence, your inner peace might seem to 'cheapen' their struggle in their eyes. So they try to pull you back to your past. But that's not holding you accountable-that's just them projecting their own issues. There's pride mixed up in this too. Some people tie their whole identity to being 'the righteous one' or 'the one with strong willpower.' Seeing Allah's mercy and forgiveness granted to someone else can feel like it smudges that clear-cut identity, so they hold on even tighter to being judgmental. Here's the real point: personal growth in deen can often seem wrong or offensive to people who are trapped in comparing themselves to others. Keep your focus on Allah's mercy, not people's opinions.
