Deep Respect for New Muslims and Their Strength
As-salāmu ʿalaykum - I just want to express how much respect I have for people who recently accepted Islam. I was born Muslim, and part of why I admire those who converted is that you chose this path. You didn’t grow up in the faith, yet you made a conscious decision to embrace it. That can be tough - some new Muslims face losing friends, family objections, or giving up things they once enjoyed. Choosing the deen despite those challenges shows real courage. I love hearing the stories of new Muslims - how you found Islam, what clicked for you, and how your journey is going. Every experience is unique and inspiring. If you ever want to share, I’d genuinely like to listen. No pressure, no judging, no preaching. If you have questions, doubts, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help however I can - even if it’s just listening. You’re not alone on this path. Much respect to all of you, and may Allah grant you peace and strength on your journey. Ameen 😇
