Deep Respect for New Muslims and Their Bravery
As-salamu alaykum - I just want to share how much respect I have for those who recently accepted Islam. I was born into the faith, and that’s part of why I admire converts so much. You didn’t grow up with this deen - you chose it. Embracing Islam can be tough. Many of you face the possibility of losing friends, dealing with family pressure, or leaving behind things you once enjoyed. Choosing iman in spite of all that shows real courage. I really enjoy hearing the stories of new Muslims - how you came to Islam, what clicked for you, and how your journey is going so far. Every story is unique and inspiring. If you ever want to share, I’d genuinely love to listen. No pressure, no judgment, no preaching - just here to support. If you have questions, doubts, or need someone to talk to, I’m happy to help however I can, even if it’s just listening. You’re not alone on this path. Much respect to each of you, and I pray Allah grants you peace, patience, and strength on your journey. Ameen 😇
