Advice for a New Muslim?
Assalamu alaikum, I hope it's okay to ask here. I was raised Christian, but over time I explored Islam on my own. Out of all the faiths I've looked into, Islam is the one that really made sense to my heart. I feel a strong pull to embrace Islam, but I want to do it right-with proper understanding and respect. I'm totally new to this and don't want to mess up accidentally. I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to start practicing Islam properly, what to focus on first, how to learn the prayers, and how to build a strong foundation. I'm also thinking about going to a mosque, but I'm a bit nervous and not sure what to do or expect. Any tips on mosque manners, what a first visit is like, or how people usually welcome newcomers would help me a lot. Thanks for reading.
