A Heartfelt Request for Your Duas for My Family’s Rizq
Salam Alaikum everyone. I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out because my family is going through a really tough time, and I believe in the power of dua, especially when we ask for each other. The Prophet (ﷺ) taught us that the supplication of a Muslim for their brother in their absence is answered, and an angel says, ‘Ameen, and for you the same.’ I live in a country where things are very hard financially. My parents are supporting me through college, but I can’t work much because of some health issues. My father is our main provider, and he’s a righteous man who fears Allah. But he’s in a system where corruption is rampant-if you don’t play along, they block your success. His salary, which should come monthly, gets delayed for two or three months, and the pay is so low while living costs are sky-high. They don’t care about us because they’re busy with their corrupt dealings. Recently, I made so much dua for Allah to open a door of rizq and barakah for my dad. Then, something promising came-a new opportunity with better pay. I was overjoyed, thanking Allah, thinking our prayers were answered. But literally the next day, it was taken away. They shut the door and even took his car. My hopes were crushed in just two days. I was so heartbroken. But I remind myself, Alhamdulillah for everything. I know Allah’s plan is perfect, even when it’s painful. I’m asking you, please, make dua for my family. Pray for my parents’ well-being, long life, and health. Especially pray for my dad to be blessed with abundant rizq-sustenance so blessed that he never has to feel sad about what the corrupt did to him. Wealth that lets him help the poor and give zakat generously. Please remember us in your prayers, especially during Maghrib, Asr, and Fajr.
