Why the Islamic View of the Unseen Makes Perfect Sense to Me

One thing I really like about how Islam explains the unseen world is that it’s not just a random mix of "believe this" or "don't believe that." It’s all part of a clear, connected system. Islam tells us angels and jinn are real, but wandering human souls or ghosts? Not a thing. And it makes sense because, from what we believe, a soul can’t just get lost. This life is our test. After death, we’re in Allah’s hands-we go to the Barzakh and wait for the Day of Judgment. Every soul is under Allah’s watch, with His perfect knowledge and justice. To me, saying a soul is "lost" doesn’t fit. How can it be lost when it belongs to Al-‘Aleem, the All-Knowing, who never loses track of His creation? That’s something I truly appreciate-how even the unseen matters are woven together so consistently. Every soul has a purpose, every step of existence means something, and nothing slips out of Allah’s care. And Allah knows best.
