Wondering about fairness in how people are created
Assalamu alaikum, everyone. I've been turning this over in my head a lot, and I gotta ask: if Allah created us all, why are some folks just... blessed with good looks or height from birth, and they get treated way better their whole lives for it? Meanwhile, others get mocked for things they never chose. How do we make sense of that not seeming fair? I keep seeing people who aren't considered attractive, or who are short, just getting humiliated in every part of life. Are they supposed to just suffer and hope that maybe something good waits for them in the akhirah? It feels like people born with traits society sees as negative end up with a life that's already set to be rough, while others live happily without even putting in effort for it. You might say 'everyone is equal in the eyes of Allah,' but honestly, does that even matter if it doesn't help us in this dunya right now?
