Watch Out: Strangers Approaching Kids with Hidden Agendas

Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters. I wanted to share something that happened recently, and it left me really unsettled. I'm in my early twenties, alhamdulillah, but I have a very youthful appearance. Most people think I'm a young teenager when they see me, especially if I'm dressed casually at home. That detail matters for what I'm about to tell you. A few months ago, some local Christians came to our door trying to spread their message. My mother was polite but firm-she made it clear we weren't interested. Then, today, they showed up again. I answered the door because my mom was busy, and I hadn't expected them. They didn't ask how old I was or if I was an adult. Instead, they pushed me to check out their religious website, specifically saying I should do it "without your mom knowing." I swear those were their exact words. They seemed to assume I was a child, and they were encouraging secretive behavior. It was really awkward for me, but more than that, it made me worry. If they said this to me, what might they say to actual kids? I want to warn you all-these people aren't just knocking on doors. They could be anywhere: at the bus stop, on the street, wherever. I used to ignore them, but now I realize how far they might go. Please, keep an eye on your children and remind them never to follow strangers online or offline without your knowledge. May Allah protect all our little ones and guide us all to what's right. Ameen.
