Viral Case of Customer Slapping Gas Station Attendant in Turen Malang Ends Peacefully

The alleged slapping of a female attendant at the gas station on Jalan Raya Talok, Turen, Malang Regency, ended peacefully. The police facilitated mediation between the victim and the perpetrator. AKP Budiono, Head of Public Relations at Malang Police, stated that after the incident video went viral, the Turen Police Criminal Investigation Unit investigated and examined witnesses. The dispute was triggered by a problem with a fuel barcode transaction, which led to an argument and the perpetrator allegedly slapped the attendant's left cheek. The perpetrator, with initials YH, a resident of Sumbermanjing Wetan, was identified and brought to mediation together with the village head. Both parties agreed to settle amicably as a family, so the case was not pursued further. The incident occurred on Thursday (25/6) at 7:30 PM WIB.
