Thousands of Bekasi Students Ready to Join the Golden English Championship 2026
The Golden English Championship (GEC) 2026, an English language competition for elementary and junior high school students across Bekasi City, will be held from July to August 2026. This competition, organized by Golden English Course, is designed as a platform for students to hone their English skills and build confidence in communicating in a global era. It's planned that hundreds of students from various schools in Bekasi will participate.
The competition will feature several contest categories like Spelling Bee, Story Telling, Speech, and English Debate, tailored to the participants' educational levels. The Program Coordinator, Muhamad Noor Khalif Sulton, S.I.Kom, stated that this program is part of a vision to improve the English abilities of the younger generation from an early age. The Chair of the Organizing Committee, Aldira Ridho Tama, S.I.Kom, emphasized the importance of this competition in creating a younger generation that is confident and competitive.
The Golden English Championship 2026 is expected to be a solution to the low level of student confidence in using English in daily life and to encourage the creation of a more competitive and inspiring educational ecosystem.
