How Allah Shows Us Proof of the Next Life (Resurrection)

Assalamu alaikum, folks. Ever wondered how our life goes through stages, from the very start till death? We can see all those stages, but once someone passes, we can’t see what’s next. Back in the day, some of those early stages weren’t visible without advanced tools, yet Allah, who designed it all, didn’t need modern science to explain them. When we look at what the Qur’an says about these stages and then check it with today’s science, it’s clear the Qur’an is truly from Allah. His knowledge of science and history is perfect, no mistakes at all. Since everything the Qur’an says about life before death is spot-on, it makes sense that what it says about the afterlife is also true. That’s the difference between just believing blindly and having faith based on real evidence. Let me show you what I mean by talking about how the Qur’an describes the first two stages of an embryo’s development. First, it calls the earliest stage “nutfah amshaj,” which means a tiny drop of mingled fluid. That’s exactly what a blastocyst (the first stage after fertilization) looks like before it implants-like a little drop of liquid. Then, around the fourth week after fertilization, it starts looking like a leech-like thing, and by that time it’s filled with blood, even before other organs form. Basically, it’s like a blood-filled leech. The Qur’an uses the word “alaqah” for this, which means something that clings, a leech-like substance, and blood. This description is so precise you can only really appreciate it under a microscope. Scholars like Keith Moore and Marshall Johnson have confirmed its accuracy and said it couldn’t have come from the knowledge of the 7th century. Allah says in the Qur’an: “O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a nutfah, then from alaqah…” (22:5).
