The Number of Rak‘ahs in Salat Tasbih, Intention, Procedure, and Its Supplication

Salat tasbih is a sunnah prayer for seeking forgiveness from Allah SWT. The number of rak‘ahs can be two rak‘ahs with one salam during the day, or four rak‘ahs with two salams at night. During the day, it's also okay to do four rak‘ahs with one salam without the first tashahhud. The intention for two-rak‘ah salat tasbih: "Ushalli sunnat tasbihi rak‘ataini lillahi ta‘ala." For four rak‘ahs: "Ushalli sunnat tasbihi arba‘a rak‘atin lillahi ta‘ala." The procedure is similar to other sunnah prayers, with the addition of the tasbih recitation (Subhanallah walhamdulillah walaa ilaaha illallah wallahu akbar) in specific movements, totaling 75 times per rak‘ah. The breakdown: 15 times after Al-Fatihah, 10 times during bowing, standing up from bowing, the first prostration, sitting between the two prostrations, the second prostration, and sitting before rising.
