Surabaya resident becomes victim of unlicensed investment labeled sharia PT DSI
Anik Hanifah, a Surabaya resident, became a victim of the alleged investment scam by PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI). She was attracted because PT DSI appeared on television, was said to be sharia-labeled, and was monitored by an official institution. Anik joined since June 2023 and for a year withdrawals went smoothly. But since August 2025, the funds have not been disbursed. OJK Surabaya only announced the alleged fraud in December 2025. Anik's money and that of hundreds of other victims are still hanging.
