Desperately Seeking Guidance on Shahada and Quran

As-salamu alaykum. My wife is Christian, and I am torn between Islam and Christianity. I feel drawn to Islam, and while I also feel a pull to Christianity, I am somewhat more at ease with Islam. For context, I am Australian, but my family is North Indian and ethnically North Indian, so I have been exposed to Islam more than Christianity. I feel a strong urge to say my Shahada (fully sober now, because I once said it while drunk, which was not ideal). I would appreciate help in learning how to read the Quran. I don't know Arabic at all, only English and Hindi/Urdu, though I hope to learn Urdu soon as well. Any advice, especially from reverts, would be greatly appreciated. JazakAllah khair.
