Seeking guidance to find the true path

Assalamu alaikum, I'm really trying to figure out the truth. I believe there's a Creator, but I'm unsure about the right way to worship. Could you share how you came to know your faith is correct, step by step? I'd appreciate if you could include clear reasons and evidence, while also kindly explaining why you feel other paths aren't right.
