How do you find a community that values life beyond the empty chase of money?
Salam, brothers and sisters. I’ve been thinking, how do you break free from this idea that life is all about the rat race in today’s economic madness that’s everywhere? How do you distance yourself from folks who are totally fixated on wealth and stuff? Where do you find a spot that isn’t swallowed by this kinda pointless way of living? How do you meet truly down-to-earth people who don’t think your whole existence should be about the economy? Like, people who don’t wanna spend their days just running on that hamster wheel? Honestly, this dunya is sick! Anyone who tells me this is what life’s about is fooling themselves. It’s all survival of the fittest, sure, but it’s completely void of soul. May Allah guide us all to a more balanced path.
