Police Name 4 Suspects in Quran Memorization Case with Alcohol Prizes
Polda Metro Jaya has named four suspects, with the initials RES, AK, I, and M, in the case of Quran memorization with alcoholic beverage prizes at The Sound Project concert, Ancol. Two suspects, RES and AK, have been arrested.
RES acted as the MC, M recited Surah Ad-Dhuha, while I and AK allegedly challenged attendees to read short surahs in exchange for alcohol. Police have examined five complainants and witnesses, and seized evidence.
The public is urged to remain calm and trust the police to handle the matter. The suspects are charged under Article 300 and/or Article 301 of the Criminal Code.
