New to Islam and curious about Arab culture

Assalamu alaikum! I'm from Germany and lately I've been diving into Islam and Arab culture. I was raised Christian but started questioning things and want to understand different worldviews. I find traditional family values and roles really interesting-something I know isn't a mainstream view these days, but I'm genuinely wondering why some people feel modern society has lost its way. Would love to hear from Muslims, especially those raised with these values. I'm still learning, so please be kind if I ask silly questions! 😅
