My spouse and I took our Shahada at home recently, is a mosque ceremony necessary?

As-salamu alaykum everyone, Alhamdulillah, my husband and I declared our Shahada together today, embracing Islam. We used to follow Hinduism, but Alhamdulillah, we've discovered the peace and beauty of Islam over the last few months. Mashallah, now we're officially Muslims! Just had a quick question: if we've said the Shahada at home, is it important to also do it in a mosque for it to be valid? Actually, we have a trip coming up soon and were thinking it might be nice to repeat it in a mosque there – but no clue if that's needed or just a nice touch. Any advice would be appreciated, Jazak'Allahu Khayran!
