Forum of Teachers from Muslim Educational Institutions in Kazan - Initial Results
Assalamu alaikum! In Kazan, a large Forum for teachers of Muslim educational institutions has kicked off, gathering over 350 educators from madrasahs and courses from various regions of Tatarstan. It's a useful platform to discuss pressing issues in modern Islamic education.
On behalf of the Mufti of Tatarstan, Kamil Samigullin, his first deputy, Ravil Zuferov, welcomed the participants. In his speech, he highlighted the crucial importance of teachers' work in the spiritual and moral upbringing of the younger generation and society as a whole.
On the first day, participants discussed key areas of educational activities: the digitization of the educational process, strengthening academic cooperation between Islamic educational institutions, as well as teaching methods for Arabic language learners who speak Russian and Tatar. Special attention was given to the role of madrasahs and courses in social work and da'wah (inviting to Islam), as well as legal and organizational issues related to the implementation of educational programs.
Islam emerged in the 7th century and has greatly influenced the history, culture, and development of many peoples. The word "Islam" in Arabic translates to submitting to the will of Allah, and today the religion has over a billion followers.
