Feeling helpless trying to encourage my husband to pray

Bismillah, my husband and I have been married for over a decade now, and I love him dearly. Every day, I make du'a to Allah SWT, asking Him to guide my husband towards becoming a better Muslim. Alhamdulillah, this Ramadan felt like a big step forward for me-I’ve been praying consistently and working on my ibadah, but my husband still hasn’t started praying at all. I’ve talked to him about it so many times, explaining why salah matters, and I keep praying for Allah SWT to grant him hidayah, but he just doesn’t seem concerned. Due to a health issue, he can’t fast and gives fidyah instead, but he doesn’t even try to pray. I feel stuck and don’t know what else to do. Any advice, my dear brothers and sisters?

It's so hard watching a loved one struggle with salah. Keep making du'a and being a gentle example. Allah SWT sees your patience.

Patience, sis. Allah SWT tests us in different ways. Your sincere du'as are powerful. May He grant your husband hidayah.

My advice: just lead by your actions. The more he sees your peace and commitment, the more it might inspire him. Don't give up hope!

Been there. Sometimes constant reminders can push them away. Focus on your own ibadah and trust in Allah's timing.
