Does Allah forgive someone who had doubts but returned to Islam?
Hey, just sharing a thought. Imagine someone born into a Muslim family, but they never really connected with the faith. Maybe they felt forced to learn Quran or pray, even resented it, and ended up questioning the teachings of Rasulullah (SAW). For them, it was mainly about feeling disconnected from their family. But then, Allah guides them to a new environment-maybe through friends or a community-where Islam is presented with clarity and genuine love, free from past negativity. Suddenly, they fall in love with the deen, start praying regularly, and commit fully to being a Muslim. So, were they a hypocrite before? And does Allah, Ar-Rahman, forgive their past mindset? In Islam, sincerity in repentance matters most. If someone truly turns back to Allah with a clean heart, His mercy is vast. The past doubts, when replaced by genuine faith and action, can be washed away by sincere tawbah. Alhamdulillah, Allah’s forgiveness is greater than our sins.
