Blitar Regency Holds Cheap Food Movement Sambang Deso to Keep Prices Stable and Maintain Public Purchasing Power

The Blitar Regency Government held the Cheap Food Movement (GPM) Sambang Deso at the Tembalang Village Office, Wlingi District, on Wednesday (22/7). This program is an effort to keep food prices stable and strengthen the community's food security. Blitar Regent Rijanto said that this movement is a form of government presence to ensure sufficient, healthy, and affordable food availability. People can buy commodities like granulated sugar at Rp16,000/kg, Minyakita at Rp15,700/liter, SPHP rice at Rp58,000 per package, and broiler eggs at Rp24,000/kg. Head of the Food Security and Agriculture Office of Blitar Regency, Setiyana, explained that this program also aims to maintain supply stability and control inflation.
