30 Tebuireng Students Make It to Al-Azhar University in Egypt, 2026

Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng has something to be proud of this year-30 of its students got accepted into Al-Azhar University in Egypt for 2026. They come from MA Salafiyah Syafi’iyah (17 students), SMA A. Wahid Hasyim (7 students), and MA Sains Tebuireng Putri Kesamben (2 students). The head of MA Sains Tebuireng shared how grateful he was and said this achievement should inspire other students to dive deeper into Islamic studies and Arabic. "This just goes to show that with hard work, discipline, and prayer, you can reach even the biggest dreams," he said.
