US lifts sanctions on Francesca Albanese, UN expert on Palestinian rights
The US has removed sanctions against UN rapporteur Francesca Albanese after a judge ruled they restricted her free speech. She was targeted for her advocacy on Palestinian rights and a report accusing companies of complicity in Gaza. Her recommendations had no binding effect, the judge noted.
