UpScrolled surges as TikTok users look for alternatives

Heard about UpScrolled - a new app by Palestinian-Jordanian-Australian Issam Hijazi that shot to the top of US downloads after TikTok’s US takeover. It mixes photos, short videos and text with a chronological feed and says it only removes illegal content. Many users are flocking there over worries of TikTok censorship, especially around Palestine; the app even briefly crashed from the surge.
