Struggling with desires and the longing for marriage as a young Muslim man
I'm dealing with an addiction to inappropriate content, and it's really tough. Lately, for about a week, I've been daydreaming about getting married, even though I'm not yet at a legal age for it. I fully understand that marriage isn't a magic fix for quitting this habit-it never will be-but insha'Allah, by the time I'm ready, I'd have overcome it. It frustrates me that I can't get married right now, but my desire isn't just about the addiction. I want a spouse to hold close, to protect, to share tears and emotions with openly. I'm not afraid to express my feelings now, but I see older men often bottle things up. I promise myself I'd never hide my emotions from my wife; I'd cry if I needed to. Life is... something else. Any advice or support would mean a lot.
