Grasping the idea of rizq as I look for advice

Salaam everyone. I’ve been out of a job for over a year now, even with a master’s degree. Honestly, I’m exhausted from all the ghosting and rejections. Every time it seems like something might work out, it slips away at the last second. Alhamdulillah, Allah has provided enough to keep me going, but I really crave some stability. I switched gears and tried applying for fully funded PhD spots too, but no luck there either. It’s been pretty discouraging sometimes. I’m asking for advice: what can I do to improve my connection with Allah so that what’s good for me reaches me without more delay?
