"Soto" Film by SMK Plus Al-Mujahidi Jember Wins First Place in Religious Moderation Competition at UIN KHAS

UIN KHAS Jember announced the winners of its short film and scientific writing competition on religious moderation this Wednesday (24/6) at the Integrated Lecture Building. The annual event, run by the Religious Moderation Center of LP2M UIN KHAS Jember, is open to high school and equivalent students across East Java. The short film "Soto" by Muhammad Fajar Rizki and Emeylia Widhiana Putri from SMK Plus Al-Mujahidi Gumukmas, Jember, snagged first place with a score of 227.8. Director Emeylia explained the film tells a story about how important it is to build friendships without letting different beliefs get in the way. Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs at UIN KHAS Jember, Prof. Muhammad Khusna Amal, said the competition gives Gen Z a space to be creative and is part of the university's support for the Ministry of Religious Affairs' program to strengthen religious moderation.
