Scholarships for Palestinians and Vulnerable Students Become New Focus in National Education
BAZNAS RI and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) are exploring strategic collaborations in scholarships, community empowerment, and research. This partnership aims to boost the Gross Enrollment Ratio in higher education and strengthen Indonesia's human resource development.
One of the discussed programs is a master's scholarship for Palestinian students, as a contribution to building Palestinian human capacity and international educational cooperation. In addition, they talked about reinforcing domestic scholarships and community empowerment through Thematic Community Service Programs (KKN Tematik).
Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto appreciated BAZNAS's commitment. Meanwhile, BAZNAS RI Chairman Sodik Mudjahid emphasized education as a priority by allocating optimal funds for Indonesia's future.
