Saudi Builds a Digital Hajj Ecosystem, Launches Integrated Integration Portal
Saudi Arabia just launched the Integration Portal, a unified digital platform to coordinate Hajj and Umrah services for millions of global pilgrims. This portal brings together data exchange between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, government agencies, and private partners into one system, supporting data governance, operational efficiency, and the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030.
The system standardizes integration from risk assessment, cybersecurity, data-sharing agreements, to technical connectivity. Partners can access API services, submit integration requests, manage access rights, and monitor progress transparently, opening up new collaboration opportunities between the government and the private sector.
Stronger data integration aims to improve the pilgrim experience, aligning travel, accommodation, health, and security services in real-time. For sending countries like Indonesia, this transformation could create new tech-based collaborations in Hajj management.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasized that this portal is a strategic step towards interconnected data-driven Hajj services, making the organization of the pilgrimage one of the most advanced public services in the world, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
