Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani revealed that President Prabowo Subianto has proposed four names for Bank Indonesia officials through a Presidential Letter. The four names are Destry Damayanti as BI Governor candidate, Aida S. Budiman as Senior Deputy Governor of BI, and Solihin M. Juhro and M. Anwar Bashori as Deputy Governors of BI. Puan stated that her side will immediately process the Presidential Letter after the opening of the session period on August 14, 2026. "One candidate for Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, namely Mrs. Aida S. Budiman. And two names of Deputy Governor candidates for Bank Indonesia, namely Mr. Solihin M.
