A Gentle Reminder: Guarding Our Words About Faith

Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. I wanted to share something that's been on my mind lately. It feels like more and more people, even among Muslims, are making light of our religion through jokes. I get it, sometimes it seems harmless, but this can slowly open the door to really disrespectful stuff and makes others not take Islam seriously. Plus, if we're not careful, mocking the deen can even lead to losing our faith-may Allah protect us. Remember what Allah says in Surah At-Tawbah, verses 65-66. You know that 'say wallahi' trend? Lying while swearing by Allah is a major sin that can drag us toward punishment. And when we say 'inshallah,' it's meant as a firm commitment, not just a polite way to dodge saying no. Honestly, our religion deserves the utmost respect. Allah is the King of all kings, and He is worthy of the highest honor. This is a reminder for me first, before anyone else. Let's treat our faith with the reverence it deserves. Jazakum Allahu khairan.
