Peace be upon you - the singer Akmal's opinion on supporting Russia
Assalamu alaikum. Singer Akmal Khojaniyazov spoke out in support of Russia after the incident with the gift in the yellow-blue bag that he refused to accept during a concert in Kazakhstan.
According to witnesses, at the performance in Petropavlovsk on October 23, a female audience member handed the artist a bag in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Akmal initially took the gift, but then returned it to the woman, explaining that he didn't like that color combination. He even suggested burning the bag, showing that he didn't want to get involved in political provocations and wouldn't identify himself with the supporters of Kyiv in the conflict with Moscow. Soon after, the organizers canceled the remaining concerts of the artist in Kazakhstan for "technical reasons."
In a conversation with journalists, Akmal expressed his full support for Russia and its army, emphasizing that they are becoming stronger.
“May God give health to our fighters, so that everything goes well for us. Whatever they bark about us behind our backs - they keep barking, we only get stronger from it,” he said.
