Oil price surge after Gulf attacks
Brent crude spiked above $84 after Iran attacked storage facilities in Fujairah and Oman's Duqm port, threatening alternative oil routes beyond the Strait of Hormuz. Major energy sites, including a Saudi refinery and Qatar's largest LNG plant, were also hit, disrupting global supplies. If the Strait closes long-term, prices could hit $120 a barrel.
